Automobile:
I-25 and I-70 intersect in the middle of Denver; I-76 joins I-25 just north of downtown Denver; I-80 is just across the Wyoming border in Cheyenne. See the driving directions listed on the Hotel page for navigating to the Holiday Inn Denver Downtown by car.
Train:
Amtrak offers daily service from Chicago and Oakland, CA. Union Station is located about 10 blocks away from the Holiday Inn Denver Downtown; a short cab ride will get you to the Hotel very quickly.
Air:
Denver International Airport (DIA) has United and Frontier hubs along with many other airlines that offer direct and connecting flights to most civilized outposts in North America. International flights are available from London and other cities. Super Shuttle and AmeriShuttle (approx. $18 each way) offer regularly scheduled van service to the Denver downtown hotels. Purchase your ticket in the Main Terminal Building. Taxis are fairly expensive from DIA to downtown (about $55 plus tip.) skyRide bus service is available between DIA and the Downtown Bus Center in Civic Center Station on a frequent basis (every 20-30 minutes.) This stop is four blocks from the Holiday Inn Denver Downtown. The fare is $8.00 each way, cash only. The driver cannot make change.

The Downtown 16th Street Mall has a free shuttle that runs from end to end with frequent service (every few minutes.) Light rail travels to selected destinations and regional bus service is available in the entire metro area.
PLEASE NOTE:
There is no official airline or rental car company for the 2004 Convention.
Rental cars are available at the Holiday Inn. Enterprise, Avis, Budget and Hertz all have downtown locations. Enterprise will deliver the car to the hotel and you can leave it in the parking garage when you are done with it.
Private passenger vehicles can be accommodated at most of the Convention venues, however we may not have individual maps available for every Convention destination.
