An optional bus tour will take us to the mining town of Georgetown, where we will ride a steam-powered train on the historic Georgetown Loop Railroad.  Lunch in Silver Plume at the historic City Hall will be followed by a visit to Central City, located in the middle of "the richest square mile on earth."  The Central City Opera House was built in 1878 and hosts opera productions each summer.  Central City is one of three historic mining towns in Colorado that allow limited-stakes gambling.
