Dougherty Antique Collection - Longmont
Tour the unique collection of musical instruments, automobiles, farm
machinery and even an original Wells Fargo stagecoach at the Dougherty
Antique Collection. The late Ray Dougherty (a long-time AMICA member)
amassed a large collection of items during his lifetime which are
displayed in a huge building. Items of particular interest to AMICAns
include a Reproduco, Wurlitzer 2/4 Theater Organ, reproducing pianos and
other musical instruments. Located on U.S. 287 just south of Longmont.

Contemporary American Western Art. 200 paintings, 85 bronze sculptures

National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
The Boulder Laboratory of NIST is where the Official U.S. Clock
resides. Several generations of atomic clocks have been developed at
this laboratory.
The NIST Laboratory no longer has walk-up tours, however U.S. citizens
can make reservations at least a week ahead of time to see the atomic
clock and other exhibits.
